Lengthening the Yard

In the spirit of becoming a robust wife material, I decided it was time to elongate my wife material length🤣.

I thought it wise to embark on an adventure with the local charcoal stove. This adventure cost almost an entire match box🤕.

I had seen a number of people set the charcoal stove so my eyes registered the process as an easy deal.

As I continued to struggle,  I had to ask for help.

This fair pretty girl came along and made jest of me. In split seconds, the flames had saturated the charcoal stove and the coals were catching the fire in record time. The fire stayed!!!

Her words to me were so profound. She said 

"You have create a space from top to bottom and set the fire. The heat comes from down to the top". 

      

Only then did it dawn on me that as Christians and in our walk with God, the only way we can truly be set ablaze for God and have something lasting is to deepen our roots in Christ.

Allow Him go deep with you and when challenges come, you can stand tall to say "I KNOW MY GOD".

Let Him in on everything. He wants to hear it all.

Just a gentle reminder that Jesus loves you 💘and wants a relationship with you far more than you want from Him.🤗
